Q. I have more than one embroidery machine. Can I use the Universal Cap Hoop-It-All on each of them?
A. Hoop-It-All's Universal (Medium sized) cap hoop may be made to fit most machine models. Several exceptions are the Brother 7000/7500, Baby Lock Esante' I & II, Bernina Artista, Aurora and the Melco Stellar. Most other machine models (as of this writing) can be interchanged from one brand to another by replacing the embroidery bracket. Some models require a special factory modification before they can be interchanged. Remember though-if you have 2 hoops, you can use both of your machines at the same time....
Q. Why would I use the Hoop-It-All instead of the hoop furnished with my machine?
A. Hoop-It-All hoops eliminate the need to stretch your fabric tight between 2-rings! You will not have to worry about thickness, bulk, seams, zippers, pockets and stretching. They save time and do not stretch fabrics or distort embroidery. Hoop-It-All hoops are flat and slide under the sewing machine presser foot easily. Small items such as socks, ribbons, ties, collars, cuffs, belts, and quilt squares are simply pressed to the SIA adhesive stabilizer and held in place during the embroidery.
Q. Is the Cap/Hat Hoop-It-All designed only for caps and other difficult to hoop items?
A. No, any item that can fit beneath the sewing machine needle is a project perfect for a Cap Hoop-It-All. For larger designs you will want one of our larger Giant Hoops.
Q. How do the Hoop-It-All hoops hold the fabric?
A. The fabric is held in place by adhering SIA (pressure-sensitive adhesive stabilizer) to the back side of the Hoop-It-All. The SIA adhesive side faces up and the fabric is then placed against the adhesive holding the fabric securely, thus preventing any undesirable movement and subsequent distortion of the design.
When finished with the embroidery, peel the SIA off the hoop or cut a patch to cover the torn area and finger-press the patch to overlap about an inch around the torn edge and resume the next embroidery.
