How do Hoop It All hoops work & what makes us Unique?

The public has dubbed these hoops “THE SMART EMBROIDERY HOOPS” because they are so much faster, easier to use without straining the hands and provide a better quality embroidery result. There are over 200 different model machines for which we make Better Hoop Choices. Many people refuse to upgrade to later model machines “until I can get a Hoop It All to fit it”, avoiding distorted or puckered designs. Over 220,000 of these SMART EASY HOOPS have been sold since  1994. Are you enjoying these benefits?

The problem with a long orignal factory hoop that allows the fabric to slip causing distortion in the center area. Our hooping system, with SIA adhesive-backed stabilizer, prevents distortion by holding all of the fabric securely without movement and puckering.

Many of our Giant Hoops are able to do continuous hooping , such as borders on table cloths, Quilts, or skirts. After you complete a design, carefully remove the fabric and patch the hole in the stabilizer. Then move the fabic to the new position and continue embroidery.

If you visit our website HOOPS, ( your brand and model ) you will see your hoop choices, such as Giant long Kits or Double-wide Hoops which allow EASY continuous Hooping. Also, if you visit our (photo) GALLERY you will see some samples and examples of our embroidery.

Over 14 years ago, the Hoop IT All Cap/hat Hoop created a hooping frenzy. Now, the Giant DOUBLE-WIDE HOOP KITS have started a new hooping excitement. These Kits allow the consumer to Embroider 4 to 8 full size sewing fields IN ONE HOOPING, up to 16”x 28”. A complete Kit ready to embroider includes: the Embroidery Frame, Mounting Bracket, Stabilizer, Template, Extension Support Table with Connection Cable and instructions. Now you can easily create  LARGE pictures, jacket backs, table runners, quilt blocks, pillows, garments, home décor, etc.

To Embroider on T Shirts, and other stretch fabrics, there are many factors to consider.

1st, because the fabric will tend to stretch and distort during embroidery, using an adhesive-backed stabilizer ( SIA ) helps to prevent it, if it has sufficient tack to hold the fabric and secure the SIA to the back of the hoop.

2nd, If the design has a high stitch density, you will need additional support. We usually fuse  FABOND to the fabric with an Iron. The higher the temperature = the greater the hold. Then you hand press the fabric/ Fabond to the SIA. This combination prevents gumming of the needle that might occur, it makes the removal of the fabric from the stabilizer.easier and gives more stability.  " Kleer Fuse"  is a lower priced and light weight stabilizer that also prevents stretching and in many cases can be used successfully in all the same applications, but with a low temp. Iron.

3rd,  If you want to have a very soft final result, (like on baby wear, towels ) then use our  unique SDSV Stick dissolve ( water soluble adhesive film ) on the back of the hoop, in place of SIA. It's customary to use plain water-soluble film on the top and then wash the film out of the shirt when finished.

You can embroider any cap style on Hoop It All Cap Hoops. The Low Profile, preformed bills are no problem. If the cap doesn't stick to the SIA ( adhesive stabilizer ) because of water-repellant fabric or the preformed bill, then we suggest lightly spraying adhesive on the inside front area of the cap to prevent fabric movement during embroidery. The ideal cap for embroidery has fused buckram, and the worst is the non-fused buckram, as you have to fold the buckram down to the bill that makes a bulky seam and restricts how close you can embroider to the bill.
