dSV™ Water-soluble Stabilizer film is an environmentally safe, wash-away stabilizer that easily dissolves at room temperature water in one minute, leaving no residue on the finished piece. New improved water soluble stabilizer, stronger, longer shelf life, and less stretch.

Use dSV™ as a topping by hooping with the fabric or simply lay it on the fabric before embroidery and embroider as usual.

dSV™ can also be used as a topping over our Sdsv when making lace without using fabric. This will prevent the presser foot from sticking to the S dsv during embroidery. These two work together when making open fabric from laminated yarn, trim, thread, lace, etc.

Store dSV™ in a cool dry place for a one year shelf life.

dSV™ (Formerly Known as dSOLV) is a 100% water-soluble temporary stabilizer that is stronger than other stabilizers and has no stretch! If you have ever tried other water-soluble stabilizers and found that you needed as many as 3 layers to prevent puckering on embroidery, you will love the fact that 1 layer will usually do!  With dSV™ not only will you use less dSV™ and it costs less than many too!

BENEFITS

EMBROIDERY

  • Keeps the loops on terry cloth out of your way.
  • Eliminates puckers when placed on top of fabric.
  • Strong enough to endure being stretched in a 2-ring hoop.
  • Only 1 layer is needed to stop puckers.

SEWING

  • When appliquéing on terry cloth, place on top and loops won’t interfere.
  • Good for use with cutwork.
