Kleer-Fuse is a permanent, Clear, Tear-Away Iron-on Stabilizer that is great for backing towels and stretch fabric for embroidery in addition to normal sewing such difficult fabrics as fleece. Iron on to fabric (low temp)that you don't want to stretch while sewing. A must for many sewing and embroidery applications and it is MADE in USA, like all of our products.
The 13 inch series comes in 13 1/2 inch wide rolls only.
Use a low temperature Iron to press the Fabric Hold - Light™ to the fabric. Press from the center toward the outside edges to prevent wrinkling the Fabric Hold - Light™ . Press it firmly (dull side down) or you can simply lay it on top of the fabric you are about to stitch.
Though Kleer-Fuse™ resists tearing and is very thin it doesn’t stretch and it easily tears away when a project is completed.
Fabric Hold - Light™ can be used with open weave textiles, knits, fleece, or any material that stretches to stabilize the sewing area to keep it from stretching to get a perfect seam, hem, armhole or buttonhole. This makes Fabric Hold - Light™ a stabilizer that can be used by embroidery and non-embroidery enthusiasts alike. By keeping the fabric stable, you can now have attractive decorative stitching and stop distortion.
As a protective film on completed embroidery, Fabric Hold - Light™ can be left in place to protect against soiling. Fabric Hold - Light™may also be used to laminate cards, photos, posters, etc. on one or both sides.
Our "Clear Fuse 'n Stick" can be used as an option for some of these applications, when you require pressure-sensitive adhesive on one side plus heat-activated adhesive on the other.
Fabric Hold - Light™ is a clear, light weight, soft, iron-on, tear-away stabilizer that does not wash away. Use it as an embroidery topping, as a backing or to laminate paper templates, etc. This is ideal for sewing and embroidering on stretch fabrics. Iron to back of fabric, place on SIA stabilizer and embroider knowing that your design will not be distorted! A must for all types of sewing and embroidery. When sewing on fleece and similar fabrics, fuse to both sides of the fabric and sew normally for flawless results.
Use a low temp Iron and start in the center area to be covered. When it is used to cover our hoop paper templates, it not only extends the life, but you can write on it with "White Board" marking pens. When used on towels, it eliminates the pulling of the loop pile and releases more easily when finished.
1 layer will do!
